ABOUT FOREST THE CANOE
Professional Adventurers
Forest The Canoe embraces all the "True North" experiences that Northern Ontario's natural world has to offer. Check out the Walkerbottoms, two certified interpretive guides on their crazy adventures. Guided nature tours and camping trips for your everyday outdoor enthusiast in Northern Ontario, operated out of our base camp and rental supplies location in Goulais River, Ontario.
Forest the Canoe all started when life partners Shana Shipperbottom and Ryan Walker wanted to live a more nature-based lifestyle and create a way to share their passion and love for the outdoors. “The Walkerbottoms”, are both trained interpretive guides, experienced backcountry campers, and have backgrounds working in social services and adult education.
