Service Description

Learn the basics of paddling with your guide before taking off to explore Lake Superior’s crystal-clear waters and rugged rocky shoreline. If you are an experienced paddler, then lets get right to it and paddle on! Your interpretive guide will share their knowledge about the local history, culture, and ecology as you experience the coastal shoreline of the infamous Inland Sea. Head back to basecamp for a shore-snack and then spend the rest of your time on the water exploring the area by yourself or with your guide. “We can’t always ask for good weather, but we can always ask for good judgement”. If conditions permit, tours will launch from Forest The Canoe’s basecamp location in Goulais River. Alternate locations include Goulais Bay or other inland lakes and rivers in the Goulais River/Sault Ste Marie area, please let us know if you are interested in a specific location. Additional costs may be required for alternate locations. $200 + tax for 2 people; $80 for each additional person Includes: Snack, Interpretive Guide, Paddling Gear and Canoe Rental *Deposit = $25 non-refundable deposit; waiver to be signed prior to departure
